Initial parking Slate quay car park Caernarfon

Hi
My daughter has had a PCN issued from above, she did not see signage in the car park. I successfully appealed against a parking eye one years ago. Does anyone have information on this car park or Initial parking or advice on what to do

Study the newbies FAQ sticky thread carefully

Study the PCN to see if it fully complies with the law named POFA 2012 or not

There is a thread of example PCNs showing compliant versus non compliant ones

Download and study the BPA CoP version 9 too

These private car parks always have signs, vso not looking out for them as a driver is worrying, because drivers are expected to look for signs and comply with them. I would be extremely surprised if there were no signs, especially when its Initial parking, so similar to Parking Eye sites

Initial parking PCNs cancelled be more difficult to successfully deal with, unlike Smart or Horizon or Gemini or APCOA for example

How about trying plan A first. ?

Hi have read above thanks the pcn does not contain information about the car park charge that was in force or how much was due see pic below. Where can I find landowners info for this car park is it worth complaining to them it was only 45 minutes

    Just ignore it.
PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

Check the other side of the PCN , you appear to have only shown us the back

Read the advice in the following thread about how to find out landowner details

    https://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/discussion/6337652/how-to-find-details-of-landowner

However, I am not convinced that anyone will cancel the PCN, UNLESS it was a medical emergency or some other very valid reasons

I suspect that your relative has redacted the top half of the NTK PCN letter by folding it, the charge is likely to be £100 and there will be dates and times showing, Plus location and contravention too

They are folding the tops over, but they actually look like this

I don't know if any suitable pleadings to the landowner, a breach is a breach, a life's lesson ( sorry for being blunt , but sometimes mistakes require restitution. I tell my own relatives the same thing. )

Ideally we would like to see the complete front of the PCN letter, with name and address and VRM and PCN reference redacted, leaving everything else on show , same with the rear, but probably little or nothing to be redacted

Ignore it because nothing will happen and she wouldn't win an appeal unless the signs are pants. Initial are not litigious.

The keeper who received this letter must tell them/their daft DRAs if she moves house.  That is the only step worth doing but she certainly doesn't pay this inflated invoice.
