Cannot get reset passwords

I have forgotten my password/s for MSE and CheapEnergyClub (are they even different?), and possibly the email addresses, too (though it’s either or only two variants).
I have done a Forgot Password for both combos - but I’m not getting any emails with reset links. It’s been like this for weeks.
They are not in Spam.
What’s going on? Please can someone help?

Presumably you are logged into MSE at the moment in order to post ? If so, if you click on 'my profile' on the right of the screen it should show the e-mail address you are using.
Assuming that the e-mail address is one of the ones you've checked, I'm afraid I can't help further ....0 -
Password reset has been working because I used it the other day.All shall be well, and all shall be well, and all manner of things shall be well.
Pedant alert - it's could have, not could of.0 -
There are a number of different types of MSE account (we are working to simplify this over the longer term) so just because you have an account for one feature, doesn't necessarily mean you have an account for the other bits (or if you do, they may all have different login details).
Any forum account you have is separate from any login you might use for the app, the Cheap Energy Club, the Credit Club, etc.
Which feature(s) are you trying to use and are you sure you've used that particular MSE feature previously?
Depending what you are trying to do, you may need to register a new account.

Thanks. Yes, confusing - and the Forgot Password options don’t confirm if an account exists.
I have part-solved this, and also working with one of the MSE people via email.
Thanks.0 -
It's fairly standard for 'forgot password' tools not to confirm the existence of an account as doing so would be a security / privacy issue itselfOfficial MSE Forum Team member. Please report all problem posts to forumteam@moneysavingexpert.com0
