He also said he had to rent gear to fit it, sounds like the cheapest option will be someone to come to him

Got someone coming to fix. £60 for a mobile welder. I’m going to take the hit because I just don’t think it’s worth chasing for. 

yeah it got delivered onto drive by a grabber truck. Think it’s about 200kgs so not easy to move
