my contract with 3 ends in a couple of weeks and I will be informing 3 that I want my current contract to end...BUT I want to keep my phone number the same as I've saw a deal on USWITCH which says its from 3 and obv using the 3 network. Its also a new iphone i would be getting.
As its from a 3rd party site "uswitch" and buying the phone from "fonehouse" - what do i need to do with my SIM card??
Do I need the pac code for my new phone?
As I'm still with 3 do I need to just put the old SIM in the new phone?
Thanks for any help

Do you mean you want to go SIM-only?0

Fonehouse give you the option to upgrade your existing deal with the same network, which will terminate your old contract and attach your new deal to your current sim. This is from the FAQs on their website;
"...would like to keep your number with the existing network you would be required to upgrade or you can call our team on 0333 900 1133 so we can help you with any other options"
https://www.fonehouse.co.uk/faq
A pac will only work if you are changing to a different network.0 -
You need to make sure that the deal is described as an "Upgrade", this allows the phone number and account details to continue as is but with new contract(s) (handset & airtime) in place.
Have a look at the Fonehouse site directly where you will see that Three upgrade deals are available.
Don't know if cheaper deals are available via USwitch or if they allow "Upgrade" deals via this referral route.
~£30 available from the cashback sites too.0
