Plusnet price increase

My current 2 year Unlimited Fibre contract costs £26.54 a month. When it ends in January 2025 it goes up to £51.54 a month! Has anyone queried this and is it a) true and b) general? If this is real and Plusnet-only, any suggestions on where else to go?

It is more a repeat of what we saw when FTTC started to be the replacement for ADSL. As the FTTC price became the acceptable benchmark of what was being charged, the ADSL price increased towards it.

FTTP is in the £35 base point for the discounted rate, so FTTC will migrate towards it. Your assumption of £30 becoming that base is probably not far out.
