'it' rarely went to the 'other forum' though in the old days and this has a definite thread there.

To me it looks like someone trying to dig themselves into a hole rather than out- the advice given by regulars on here has been excellent as usual, but it could easily go very wrong if OP continued down the conspiracy route. 

OP, stop with the conspiracies, it serves no purpose than to get yourself even more anxious - just keep it simple.

What if on the day, I fall sick and don't turn up?

Unless you contact the court beforehand you my be dealt with in your absence. There is still a chance that will happen even if you do. However, if your attendance is required to clarify your plea, the court might adjourn to give you a further chance to attend. If you fail to attend again you will definitely be dealt with in your absence and if your plea is not clear to the court a Not Guilty plea will be entered on your behalf.

I've already told you the likely outcome. You not being there won't make much difference. 

All this is doing me head in , my Gp can only see me on the 27th 

I believe you should stop driving (and stop posting on here) at least until then and at your consultation ask the doctor whether he considers you should resume driving.

Nkt worth it, using my cycle and it's summer
