Something that has changed for me recently is when I log on to my Santander online account (most of the time I do use the app but occasionally convenient to use pc/laptop) is asking me for a OTP, with no option I can see to make a trusted browser. Is this the same for others?

Been with Santander for years, never seen "trusted browser" as an offering in any incarnation of the online banking portal.

Also with Santander with years but never used the App. Just enter my 5 digit Security Number as usual.Never pay on an estimated bill. Always read and understand your bill0

I have had occasionally had to receive a OTP
I actually wouldn't mind receiving a OTP every time just a added bit of security.
For me Santander has reduced security for convenience0 -
With my first browser log in from a new IP address/country there was a request for the OTP.
Subsequently I have just needed my customer number and PIN.0 -
I don’t recall an update, but it’s probably 4 or 5 times in a row I’ve been asked for an OTP after inputting PIN number, after never being asked before.35har1old said:

That problem started to occur for me using Firefox on Linux. I disabled the pop-up blocker for the Santander website. That fixed the problem, and Sandi stopped hiding too.

For the last several months, I have needed an OTP every time I use online banking. I just assumed it was the norm.RedImp_2 said:Something that has changed for me recently is when I log on to my Santander online account (most of the time I do use the app but occasionally convenient to use pc/laptop) is asking me for a OTP, with no option I can see to make a trusted browser. Similar thing happened here. Normally needed just the PIN (after an initial OTP) but recently wanted an OTP every time I logged on. I put it down to having cleared cookies around the time it started. After about a month, it seemingly decided I was okay again and reverted back to just PIN.0

The last couple of months I've been asked for a OTP every time I login to my Santander accounts on my PC0
