It's in the "products" section of the app. I just ask to open an account. It does state it requires a credit check though 

I've tried at various points to try and open a 2nd account with Android app, go through all the steps, always get rejected.

That will be to do with the fact you're failing the credit check/internal scoring I'd imagine, rather than it not being possible through the app.

Yet I've managed to open other accounts elsewhere without issues.

Opened my Barclays account in branch but yeah it's a mystery why I can't open via app, like I said tried at various points.
