I had a bit of a play with manually selecting the network operator but the apn automatically filled in as KPN Internet and seems to be working for me.1 -

You guessed it,i hadnt switched data roaming on,because i thought i wasnt roaming so wudnt need to.
Does seem strange to have the R symbol on though.0 -
It certainly does seem odd to have roaming on, but it isn't a uk sim. It is a bit of an eye opener about international charges though. If they can do it for free why are some networks super expensive?1

Remember, it’s not free. After the free 100MB It costs one advert per 60minutes for the slow speed (approx 500Kbps) and £2 a day for the fast.1

Not sure if it is just me but I'm having issues with firsty and not getting a connection. To start with the esim came up as a no entry sign, now it is back with an R symbol but the app keeps going back to "activate your firsty sim", although sometimes it briefly flickers on to '0 minutes' and 'unstable connection'.
So the novelty has worn off for me somewhat.0 -
Mines been fine since you told me how to use it.
Have tested it in different places from home, and works great.
Will try the 2gb fast service for a day when i go to wales in the next few weeks for a few days0
