Viaplay / Premier Sport took money after cancelling
Splitting of emails has caused confusion. To be clear: 1. One year sub with Viaplay June 2023. Online then cancelled recurring payment 2. Premier took over Viaplay approx March 2024 3. June 2024 they said they were going to chargemy card £79. Replied saying that was sub cancelled and they should not be charging 4. They charged me £79 two days later. Emailed them saying I wanted it refunded 5. They emailed back saying not possible but that sub would be cancelled in June 2025 and would not auto renew then. 6. Spoke to my bank 7. Sent this email to Premier

I do not accept your response and have been in touch with my bank and the payment (still pending at the time of writing) on my credit card.
They have advised that they cannot act whilst this payment is still ‘pending’ but will do so once it has cleared.
I cancelled this online shortly after taking out the subscription via the Viaplay app to ensure it was a one off payment and that no further charges would be taken.
My online transaction was with Viaplay and not Premier Media.
I no longer have Sky TV so it is of no interest in any case. 8. 12 hours later email from Premier saying they were refunding my £79
