Are all these devices connected to the router via ethernet cables? When our FTTP installation was done the ONT and router moved. We just plugged in a couple of Powerline devices rather than trying to run cables round the house. This was for an old YouView box.

The router that our FTTP supplier provides is also a DECT base-station so the DECT "landlines" haven't had to move, the only difference is that they're paired with the router and we've unplugged them from the redundant BT socket.

  • Forget phone service, that's DV and sorted. At the moment TV Box and BARB box are hardwired into router. Needs to be wired to other BARB kit in situ.

Don't want to disturb router location if possible, if BARB installation becomes problematic I'd imagine they would simply replace me and I'd lose my (not negligible) compensation for being on the panel.
