Completely off topic but I feel really pants. I have just realised I am in for yet another boring weekend in front of the tv, I can't remember the last time I went out for drinks with my friends (not an expensive night just the pub) OH never wants to go out and I feel like he always puts Rugby first, I mean he didn't even wish me a Happy New Year!!!
I just sort of want to cry and I don't know what to do!Current debt - £16,300Debt at worst 17/03/2011 - £18,067.62:eek::eek::ANot going anywhere else, ever again :A0 -

Awww Lucy, have you spoken to him about how you're feeling? Try to find a time when you are both calm and discuss it with him. Maybe say you're not expecting him to give up rugby, but he has to make sure he also makes an effort to make time for you as well.
I have to drag my hubby out of the house kicking and screaming if I want a night out....either that or go out without him."I wasn't wrong, I just wasn't right enough.":smileyhea97800072589250 -
Aww Lucy :grouphug:
I agree you should talk to your OH.
Luckily DH and I are both homebirds, more than happy to stay home with the occasional takeaway for a treat. We were both different when we were younger like you though (OMG dont I sound old  )
Do the rugby club not have doo's you could go to together? Is it better to aim for the stars and hit a tree or aim for a tree and land in its branches :think:Loves being a Wonderbra friend :kisses3:

Me & my OH we don't go out anywhere0

Most of the players go out on a Saturday night after the match, but he always says no and we go home and watch tv (always his choice of program) I feel like a spare part. I mean I am with a man who will tell people in front of me that he has no intention of getting married. I normally feel about 2 inches tall (not that I am deperate to get married!). We had a big argument on New Year and I discussed some of it with him, but I don't know if much got through.
I just feel very lonely and a bit like an after thought. I had a terrible breakup when I was 21 and I am determind not to have it again, I also realise that life is to short to be unhappy and I really don't know what to do.
Most of my friends to live around here so I don't really have anyone to go out with, only some male friends and OH doesn't really like that.Current debt - £16,300Debt at worst 17/03/2011 - £18,067.62:eek::eek::ANot going anywhere else, ever again :A0 -
Oh Lucy, I know how you feel, I split my with my last BF because it was literally rugby first, me second. You need to sit him down and have a long chat! Good luck.
On the fitness front, I am crap and haven't found a tape measure (it's random how the simplest things can be so hard to find over here), but I have no more chocolate left, and won't be buying any more, and have played badminton for an hour and done two half an hour sessions of dragging myself round the park. Also been doing the Handytrim arm thingy whenever I have a free moment, and a few sits ups here and there too. Have to say, the not boozing in January is definitely helping, my skin is looking so much better!...I like my coffee black, just like my metal!

Well done on you weight loss Little Miss, fac, IA and Snaggles :T Good luck for those still to weigh in and chin up to any who haven't managed to lose anything this week.
I have lost 3.5lb this week bringing my total to 5.5lb. Yippee. Only 3.5 to go to my first target which is my "normal" weight, then I'll start trying to lose another half stone to get to my "slim" weight.
I haven't done so good with exercise this week. I have been running twice and was going to go this afternoon but it's snowing  Do you think that's a valid excuse not to go???0 -
Twi1ight, snow is an excellent excuse not to go you don't want to jeapordise all your hard work by falling over in it and breaking your ankle or something! Stay at home and do a DVD if you have one, or a few sit ups or something....I like my coffee black, just like my metal!

Good point. I hadn't thought about slipping, I was just worried about getting cold and wet! I don't have a dvd but think I'll do some sit ups and some very vigorous hoovering and bathroom scrubbing.
I'm completely shocked by the snow. When I left work it was chucking it down with rain, I heard on the radio that the motorway was partially blocked so decided to go the back way - bad move. The road was flooded in a few place which was really scary and then the rain turned to snow. I really hate driving in snow. Does anyone else find it makes them dizzy??? All the white flakes and moving landscape makes my head go funny. So my heart was thumping all the way.0
