I'm just glad you are ok and can still do exercise, that could have been nasty!

  • Well I picked up the exercise bike from a kind freecycler took it home and managed....

All of 8 minutes, I really couldnt do any more, my heart was racing, I couldnt breathe and my legs were shaking.

This has shown me how unfit I am, I power walked to school and back today with buggy, its only 5 minutes away but its uphill.Il stick at it but im going to relax in bed now and let my legs return to normal.
Did well food wise today, stuck to my ww points with 2 to spare.:j
  • Room for one more?

Well I don't have a set of scales here but I know I've put on weight (all the cheap beer in Germany urgh).

However, in inches, the damage is:
    • waist: 31
    • belly: 36
    • hips/bum: 40
This might be a bit on the big side, as was done with a crappy metal tape measure that wasn't very good going round curves, so I will try and pick up a material one tomorrow.

Dress size wise I am a 10-12 but I seem to have developed a bit of a tum since moving here in Sept....boo.

Today I went for a jog round the park (nearly killing myself on the ice), and was out for 30mins, alternating between walking and running. I have no car here so everything is train or walk, and I shall be doing more walking. I also live up 6 flights of stairs (oh the joys of city living) so that's got to do something!

The main problem I have is that I sit here in front of the laptop and eat. Therefore I am not buying anymore biccys, as these are my downfall...*looks guility at custard creams wrapper in the bin).

    Good morning,
well I got up early this morning because I have decided that instead of letting my OH walk the dogs, I will do it - I am now pooped and hungry but feeling awake and ready for the day.
Am doing well as far as food goes, I gave all the Christmas chocolate away, and am ordering tesco online to avoid temptation! My only worry is I won several Thorntons goodies and I believe they are due this week!
Ah well, weigh day Friday, and want to have lost something!

Morning! It's freeeeeezing outside today, I've just got back from school and my cheeks and ears are burning. For some reason I feel quite full of energy but I'm not sure if I dare do my Davina DVD because my back hurt so much this morning I could hardly get Natasha out of her cot.

Need to have a really good day today if I don't want to have to report a gain on Friday. I ate really healthily yesterday but then blew it when Stu found some Pringles in the cupboard and decided they needed 'eating up'. :o

That's ok, I found some wafer biscuits yesterday, although I managed to not eat all of them and I have hidden them in my car for safety!

I'd like to join this challenge if I can! I don't want to lose a lot of weight but just want some encouragement to eat a bit healthier and be a bit more active - I generally slipped into quite unhealthy habits towards the end of 2007 - too much drinking, smoking and junk food and not enough exercise - and need to get back into a slightly healthier lifestyle!

    Good luck everyone!
