  • Hey IA - good luck with all the New Year plans! I'm sure you'll manage it all with your determination! Did you get the kitten food in the post? I think I forgot to put anything in to say it was from me but was posted week before Christmas so I think it should be with you by now - hope Lewis enjoys it! x
Yes! I did thank you.. I didn't know who to thank though as there was no name with it!!! Thanks very much from us and Lewis :)

Does playing Wii Sports count as exercise ??  :D:D

This reminded me... Just after bubs 2 was born a few months back, a physiotherapist actually ADVISED me to buy one of these as excercise.. was a bit stunned at the time but I guess I can now understand why :)

Do you think I could use it as an excuse to buy one? :D

Would like to lose 2st in time for my 2nd 21st in April (was pregnant on my first, so would like to make up for it 2nd time around ;) ) Will start on the 2nd though, as New Year's Eve without wine would be beyond me. Will check use by dates on Xmas choccies to see if they can do for pressies in the year!

Hi just put this on and forgot I had my PC volume at max. I think I just woke the whole street.
(Hang on I think someone in Coventry just shouted at me to turn it down!)

My DD tells me to turn the music down all the time - I'm sure it should be the other way round, me telling her

Like Stressed Mum I have been holding onto my extra pregnancy weight for some 11 years now !
The thing that bothers me is these low cut jeans that need 'hitching up' all the time. I wishfully think it's because I have such slim hips, but no actually it's my belly pushing them down !

I don't get the hipster jean either - mine always fall down too and like you I thought my hips were just to small .... until I noticed the belly roll pushing its way over the top - omg I have a beer belly and I don't drink beer :rotfl: :rotfl: !
Please designers bring back high waisted jean and then we can "bag" our tshirts (aka flab) over the top and look all slender again :rotfl: :rotfl: - go the 80's!!!!

  • Helloooooooooo!

Can I join in? My baby is only 9 weeks old so no way in hell am I measuring anything! But I put on 4 stone during pregnancy and am still 2 stone heavier than pre-pregnancy. I am living in dresses because I can't wear any of my jeans or trousers - they all fit fine on bum and legs, but can I do them up? Not even for a million pounds :(

We are thinking of buying an exercise bike - not very DFW I hear you say! BUT I was a keen runner pre-baby and went to spinning classes most weeks - not so easy to do with a baby so I'm certain it will get used, and be much, MUCH cheaper than joining a gym with a creche.

I am breastfeeding and my appetite is through the roof, it's worse than when I was pregnant, and I know BF doesn't burn off every excess calorie there is! Almost everyone gave me chocolates for Christmas so I have stacks of the stuff lying around. My only saving grace is that I have gone off most alcohol, including Baileys  had half a glass Christmas eve and turned my nose up at the rest - having a baby has done something odd to my tastebuds!

So my first aim is to wear a pair - any pair - of trousers.

Oh and I'm going to buy some "magic pants" to spur me on to what I might be able to achieve :rotfl:
  • I'll start 2nd Jan - should give me time to "cleanse" the house!! No way I'm posting my measurements! You'll just have to trust me!
