The house we are buying has recently had a lot of energy improvements done including a new boiler. The seller states it was free due them being on benefits. My conveyancer is concerned that there might be a loan of some sort to pay back. This is now delaying things. Does anyone have any experience or knowledge of these things please?
There have been various schemes, some free, some loan based with repayments via the electricity bill. Your conveyancer should request a recent copy of the vendor’s electricity bill to confirm if there are any repayments involved.
