Yet another question….

I would suspect that if the US supermarkets are anything like the ones in the UK, you wouldnt be able to book a November slot until much much nearer the time anyway.
If this is a private booking through something like Air BnB, why not ask the host you booked it through if they could assist? Offer to give them X extra to book a supermarket delivery in of essentials.0 -

Unless you mean you are trying to set up things for next November? Can some relative there do things for you via their computer as likely that's the block. I know I can't order things I'd like in Canada before travelling there as it knows I've got a UK pc.

Assuming this is doable Walmarts do not accept Applepay and you have to download their payment app. However when trying to do this through Walmart app. It tries to redirect to I tunes store which must also have to be done from within USA.
Have tried with a VPN but this does not work either. Has anyone any ideas or suggestions as this is more critical than normal being on the eve of Thanksgiving. See
Why ApplePay, don't you have normal plastic(VISA/Mastercard)? Why so complicated? You don't HAVE to use their application. Have you ever heard of a Browser?
https://sms-man.com/blog/how-to-create-a-walmart-account-without-phone-number/#how_to_create_a_walmart_account_without_phone_numberYes, I do have ‘normal’ plastic but again not accepted via internet. We are a party with 2 members in wheelchairs and I find it easier to deal with potential problem well before time. I did not realise (and neither did the airline) that for some reason Thanksgiving is one whole week later this year hence the mild panic. It will be horrendously busy everywhere and with most grocery stores closing by 11pm on the day of arrival and flight not due to arrive at or after 5.30pm getting through the airport and car hire coul take hours so hence the ‘forward planning’. We are self catering so there will be nothing at our accommodation upon arrival.Having travelled to US on previous occasions I am just trying to preemptively address problems.I am at a loss to understand why this ‘upsets’ so many?Thank you to those who helpfully advised and to those who thought sarcasm was the way to go ‘get a life’.
If you have 'normal' plastic, then of course it will be accepted via Internet. Perhaps you can explain further why it is not. VISA, Mastercard, American Express is accepted. User error methinks.
I've already directed you to a workaround for the US mobile number, but you didn't address that at al. Instead you replied to the VPN advice made to someone else. I was obviously replying to Brie with the advice to use a VPN.

"Walmart accepts a variety of payment methods in store or for online purchases. These payment methods include debit and credit card payments, PayPal, Walmart gift cards, prepaid debit cards, or EBT payments,
Just keep in mind that international credit cards are only accepted if they are affiliated with American Express, Discover, Mastercard, and Visa."

My problem is in order to place an order either for delivery or collection upon arrival in USA I first have to open a Walmart account. This requires a US telephone number which I do not have and assuming I find a way around that hurdle only US REGISTERED cards are acceptable unless using Applepay or Walmart pay which again I cannot apply for in UK. I am a former US resident so feel I am relatively knowledgable on what I can and cannot do even gas stations will not accept UK Cards at the pump!0 -

First of all you either have skipped reading the link that I prepared for you or it might be that you simply did not understand it.
It shows you how to open a Walmart account. Did you peruse it? It doesn't appear as if you did.
Another problem that we are having is that I keep telling you and you keep on arguing that you know better.
Please...peruse this link: https://www.thedibb.co.uk/forums/showthread.php?t=967790
So now you have both the workaround(if you can be bothered to look) and the confirmation that you can use your 'international' plastic.

Who have you rented the apartment from?
Maybe they would be kind enough to get some shopping in for you (if they live nearby that is......) If not maybe they could order for you some things and you pay them back.0 -
If you're having problems with using a VPN, try to turn location off (or use a location changer app) and remove the SIM card.
Can't confirm it will work in this case, but it does work with some apps that will use the mobile data.
With an Android phone I can put my phone into flight mode with WiFi on, change location and upload a VPN to get these apps to work without issue in less than a minute.💙💛 💔0 -

No need for a VPN. But it's hard to get the OP to take good advice.1 -
