Broadband Price Increase

I have received an email from sky saying they are increasing my broadband prices in July and if I wish I can leave penalty free if under contract.

Can I just switch away and how soon can I do this? without incurring any penalty.

Yes, they have said you can leave without penalty.
Just find somewhere to go first and make sure the alternative can supply you before burning bridges

Then all you need to do is sign up with a new supplier & they do the rest, you do not need to contact Sky, the new supplier takes care of that

You may get a "sorry you are going"mail from Sky

Once you have found a new supplier, you may wish to ring Sky first, just to see if you can get a better price / deal before you jump.
