Why sellers don't post overseas?

'Cause it's too much bother. The only times I've made auctions international are when I've been selling collectable stuff that Americans will like. Most of the stuff I sell are items that don't make a huge amount of profit and are available everywhere (CDs etc). When I have made these auctions international the bids have not really been higher than if I'd made them UK only. I'd much rather sell things over here and know that the items will arrive at their destination within a few days (hopefully!) and that's the end of it.0

If you don't have a 'signed for' type of delivery, if the person says they didn't get it then paypal will give them their money back.
Thus too much hassle when the item will most likely sell anyway in the uk....
If you log onto the royal mail website you can get the cost from there.
