theory test payment taken twice

I dont know where to post this, but maybe someone can help. My son booked his driving theory test this morning. The first payment failed (time-out). A second attempt was successful. Just noticed the payment was taken twice. I cant find any contact details to report this - any help appreciated

Is it showing as pending in on-line banking?  or that it has actually come out and confirmed.

If it is pending, one of the payments should drop off in a couple of days without actually taking the money from your account.

At this stage it's likely to have been authorised twice and not yet showing as taken... ordinarily you'd expect it to only be collected once and the second authorisation will drop off in a week or so. 

At this point just keep an eye on it to see which actually get paid. If both do then it won't be too much hassle to get it refunded other than the long call wait times to get through to the DVLA
