Holiday Questions - Parking/Currency

I have just booked a weeks trip to Antalya, Turkey all inclusive.
I'm looking for some parking and overnight stay near Luton airport as our flight is very early morning, Where am I best looking for this as the prices i've just googled are ridiculous just for 1 night on the 6th July.
As our holiday is all inclusive how much money should we be taking with us for the odd shopping and where am I best changing this over in Turkey or here before we go?
Thanks

How much is “ridiculous”? The Luton Airport site quotes £29.99 in their long stay section for an overnight stay (23h) from 6 July.
Difficult to know how much you as a family will spend without knowing if you are planning to do excursions, go shopping, buy treats etc.
When we have done AI in Turkey in the past any excursion purchases go on to a credit card and the only cash-money is for tips. We just take spare USD/EUR in small denominations and use those when appropriate. Haven’t changed to Lira for years.0 -

Without knowing where the OP is coming from, its hard to give any advice, as I would suggest look at hotels somewhere along the route between home and Luton. Doesnt have to be round the corner from Luton airport, 10 miles away could be acceptable.
I once stayed in Saffron Walden before a Stansted flight, its hardly 100 yards round the corner from the airport but close enough for it to be "nearby".0 -
OP Something like the Premier Inn Osborne Road, Luton, Beds is less than £100.
I have stayed there many times, it is about 5-7 minute drive to the airport0 -
Is the £29.99 for a weeks parking (do u have a link for this please) as the prices I have seen are all over £85 just for parking for 1 week and around £200 with 1 night hotel at the holiday inn Luton.Westin said:How much is “ridiculous”? I can probably go for the Premier Inn near Luton for 1 night at £92 but the parking quotes are still horrendous.0 -
That was for one 24hr period as that is how I read your post initially.
If you have found one weeks parking for £85 I would say that is very reasonable for airport parking in peak travel periods.0 -

Saffron Walden isn't ideal though, largely due to the nearest station being Audley End and local contracting disputes between Essex CC and the bus company at the moment.
£85 for a week is reasonable value for airports. If we have to pay commercial rates, it's normally about £55 for 3 days in mid stay (a close walk to the terminal).atlantis187 said:

£200/night is about right for airport hotels, which is why I try to avoid them in general.💙💛 💔0 -
What?? I've stayed in airport hotels loads of times and never paid anywhere near that much, often around £50 or less and don't think ever more than £100. I've just looked up my last stay at Luton, at the Holiday Inn express Luton airport, walkable to the terminal, was £71.99 (inc breakfast) in 2021.CKhalvashi said:

2021 was an exceptionally quiet year.zagfles said:

Supply and demand has to come into the equation also. Looking at general hotel rates and assuming double occupancy, £200 is still about right.💙💛 💔0 -
It wasn't an exception. I've stayed in about 20 airport hotels in the last few years and never paid anywhere near £200. Just stayed in one in Paris which I thought was expensive at 110 EUR (still under £100). If you've paid £200 for an airport hotel you've been ripped off! Just checked the above Luton hotel, you can stay there tonight for £109 (2 adults).CKhalvashi said:
