Android problem with Bluetooth hearing aids

My husband has just bought a new android phone, but is having problems using it (pairing) with his NHS Bluetooth hearing aids.  Does anyone have experience of this, or any suggestions as to what might fix the problem?

Hearing aids = danalogic GN Ambio S77, software bemore, Bluetooth

Phone = OUKITEL WP32 Rugged Smartphone Android 13

The software says that it has paired the aids with Bluetooth, but then they are not showing or working as paired.  These hearing aids work fine with an old Samsung Galaxy phone, so it's not a problem with the hearing aids.

Does anyone have any ideas?  Many thanks in advance for any suggestions,

Not all hearing aids work with all phones.
I have resound hearing aids and they won't work with my Motorola but are fine with a Galaxy. Yes, they will pair but not in a usable way.
If you look at https://www.danalogic.co.uk/connectivity it gives a list of the compatible phones for your hubbies aids. It looks like the exact same list as my Resound aids

Has the old bluetooth connection on Samsung been deleted?
Possible that they can only be paired to one phone at a time.

Other option is to visit hearing dept & get them to help. 👍

It's just that the list of compatible phones for specific hearing aids is limited, nothing to do with it still being paired to another phone. It is paired to the non-Samsung phone but that is not a compatible phone according to the maker

You will need the phone clip+, the same as my Resound aids

It looks like Resound + Danalogic use the same circuitry

Yes if using the NHS Ambio 77 you need the phone clip

A couple of years ago  I received a pair of Ambio 77 from the NHS via  Hospital Audiology Dept

I have a Google Pixel 6 mobile phone and Pixel watch and downloaded the  BeMore app

Both watch and phone are permanently connect to hearing aid via  a Phone Clip+ which opened up a lot of different opportunities using the earpiece, phone, watch combination  I am also paired and able to connect to TV and computer Bluetooth audio no problem.
You can pair up to 8 Bluetooth devices with the Phone Clip+, but only 2 Bluetooth devices can be connected/active at one time
So using the phone clip together with  Ambio 77   enables me to fully exploit Bluetooth audio capabilities.

These replies are all very helpful, thank you so much.
My husband had already found the Clip+ as a possibility, but he is now going to buy one after reading these comments.
    Sorted!
