EE PAYG will disconnect me in 3months ?
hi all,
i received a text from EE today saying because i haven't made a chargeable call/text or used date for 6 months i will lose my remaining credit + My number will be disconnected in 3 months.
i just topped up my phone with £10 worth of credit and made several phone calls.
does my actions ( topping up my phone + making calls) automatically stop my phone being disconnected in 3 months?
thanks

Pretty much normal with PAYG. need to make a chargeable action every 180 days on average (though some providers may be as low as 90 days), so a phone call, a text... topping up on its own doesn't count as an activity for this purpose.1

Yes, but set a reminder every other month to make a call or send a text. That will also allow you to check the phone is working okay.0

According to another thread here, O2 changed it so that texts didn't count towards keeping a PAYG account running.0

Happened to someone I know too - he just phoned 150 (?) and they confirmed that he wouldn't be cut off so he asked for text confirmation, which they did.
