Apologies this is the only place I could start a thread no red plus sign anywhere else.

Have used FX for years then Covid gap and now first post Covid trip. Can only find really old threads on here so wondering if still safe.

I can't find anything about a product called that, are you referring to FairFX perhaps, or just generically prepaid cards denominated in USD?

There is also Caxton FX but we can't help much more without further information from the OP.

Personally, I would be looking at Chase or Starling for starters but it depends on what the OP wants to use the card for.

FX is usually an abbreviated way of referring to foreign exchange in general. You need to identify the particular card you're referring to. Also what you mean by 'safe'.

Sorry I was referring to FairFX Dollar Card.
Yesterday A panic post briefly appeared on here via notifications to me but when I tried to look on site it said there was no such post so it got me wondering.

IMO there's nothing inherently 'unsafe' about FairFX, athough (again IMO) there are better options for spending abroad these days.

I've had one of their cards for years, but I use a Starling debit card nowadays.
