Acronyms and initialisms are explained in the 5th post of the newbies sticky thread in announcements, 6 down from the top of the forum

Its not a fine, courts and magistrates issue fines

Its an invoice from a private parking company for the alleged breach of the parking contract on that private property

I suggest that you redact the name and address, the PCN reference number, and the VRM details, plus any QR code ,and post pictures of both sides of the PCN , we are debating how the pictures were taken and by what tech

Hi thank you for all your comments. What do the different acronyms stand for?  The first page has a lot of personal details - it says Parking Charge notice at the top. Then Parking Charge Amount £100 discounted to £60 if paid in 14 days and then how to pay the fine. It has photos of my car arrival time and departure time and duration…
    Yep, we know.

Please show a properly redacted image of the front & back.

The forum team removed your first pic so you must have left the VRM and/or a QR Code showing. Cover them and your data.

    PLEASE LEAVE ALL DATES SHOWING.
PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

Plus, if those signs are current, they clearly mention ANPR cameras being used

Are we sure it was an ANPR and not a, so called, MNPR lurker photo?

Oh yes you can see the ANPR cameras quite clearly:

  • Hi why is ANPR important? Thanks

Hi why is ANPR important? Thanks
Are you reading all the replies you are getting?

Here's what @fisherjim wrote on your thread on 30 May at 10:08AM...

But this is surely a school run by Hertfordshire County Council, therefore not relevant land, they cannot use Parking Eye's dodgy ANPR cameras by law!
...and the post following, by @Coupon-mad, explains what you need to do about it.  ;)

Hi why is ANPR important? Thanks

Because as I said before authorities are banned from using ANPR by the government in off street car parks.
High Wycombe Council lost thousands when they introduced it in to most of their car parks in 2017, and the DVLA stopped the access to their records until pay and display was reinstated.
You cannot be caught by ANPR on a council owned car park as it's not relevant land, they must use foot patrols and Traffic Orders, they cannot use Contract Law for car parks alongside Traffic Orders on street.

This may be very complicated as it appears to be a Foundation School - it may well own the land and buildings.
