Thanks - this could be an option but my continued ISA contributions this year are meant to be X per month into a S&S ISA. So I would need to weigh up whether there was a way of facilitating this that wasn’t overly difficult. AJ Bell not accepting partial transfers of current year subscriptions doesn’t help as I wouldn’t want to be out of the market. This was partly why I took the Flexible Cash ISA to S&S ISA route in the first place.

For a prospective lump sum I could consider your route of course - the other problem is that the rate on this Flexible Cash ISA is no longer competitive so I was (prior to this at least) considering transferring what is left in the account.

Alas - maybe I accept it’s a max of 16k of non duplicated funds for me this year.

In my case I'd already paid it back into another ISA which was permitted last year.
