Octopus Energy refunds

Has anyone else had problems getting a definitive date for a refund from Octopus Energy? Almost a month and they remain elusive with a date for the refund - I’m wondering what I’ll have to do to get my money repaid. Never using them again, of course.

Requesting refund by phone or social media message year after year, same response each time. never fail to deliver within stated timescale
"I've requested a refund of £,,,,, this has been sent to our Credit & Payments Team to approve and should be with you within ten working days, but usually much quicker than that"

Hi
Dunno about a refund but we've paid octopus £2500 in the last year and the bill is STILL £4500,,,,,dunno where all that came from either
Major problem with customer service
Even sent emails last week to CEO and CFO of company,( their brothers) ,,,,still no contact
Absolutely useless
Quick enough to TAKE you money though0 -

We've got wal and loft insulation, led lighting throughout the whole bungalow, new economical boiler AND 16 solar panels on roof, we are east/west facing too
We both work full time
Octopus engineer came round and he even said to us we shouldn't have a bill or maybe a small one for what we are pulling in to what we use
Octopus even say that we have useage @10.30 am(at work) and high even at around 12.30am (asleep )
They can't explain it0 -

Make sure that the meter number on your meter is the one on your bill.
Make sure that the meter you think is actually yours (usually only a problem in flats).
Turn everything off at the consumer unit (fuse board) and see if your meter still shows usage.
Run one device of a known power draw (fan heaters are good for this) and see if that usage is correctly recorded).0
