I have an ID Mobile sim only deal which has finished. I can get a phone and sim deal for £13.99 pm through an upgrade link. The same deal through Mobile is £11.99 ! If I do the new contract through Mobile, how do I keep my number ? Isn't a PAC used when you change mobile provider, which I am not ?

You need to let them know, they'll sort it out for you. If you are already on PAYG, I remember that they needed to issue a new sim card for a contract. You can always keep the number regardless which way you go.

You don't need a PAC since you're not porting to another provider. They have the authorisation they need already if you ask them.

Just make sure you choose "Upgrade" on the mobiles.co.uk site, it will then just happen. No PAC required.
