I'm glad you know how I feel doodledo and I bet there are plenty of other people who do too! Sometimes I find myself spending far too long watching the figures and re-calculating possibilities, just in case I'm missing any ways to shave off a month before being debt-free!

Payday is here again and after writing down all my outgoings for this month, I am not paying as much off my debts as I would have liked to. I had a bump in my car on Sunday so have had to take the cost of excess out of my wages, which is great because a year ago I would have had to put it on my credit card but now I can actually pay it with cash. It's progress at least, looking from the 'glass half full' approach!Make £5 a day challenge - February £54.28/£140

Just checking my calculations for the last payday of the month, and it's possible I might be able to hit my updated target of £14,000 for the year although I am going to have to go some.

Well done the sums and nowhere near it after a year of playing at dfwness...next year will be better with a 10,000 target and determination to stop paying my money to mbna et al!! Again learned alot - I can resist anything but temptation; I am a shopaholic but can also cook! Will work on these things some more and move on to a positive and more sucessful dfw 2009!Nerd no 109 Long haulers supporters DFW #1! Even in the darkest moments, love and hope are always possible.0

Good to see you haven't lost the enthusiasm ISOM, and also that we have kept going for nearly a whole 12 months! I don't think I've stuck that long at any challenge! Thank you so much for setting it up.
I have just about managed to crawl over the £14,000 mark today, I was paid early this month because of the Bank Holidays so have just transferred some of the funds (before going out to the sales!) and totted up the totals.
My job for tomorrow is to work out my new monthly payments for each debt because we are now down to four debts from nine at the start of the year. Is it wrong that I am looking forward to that job?!Make £5 a day challenge - February £54.28/£140

Afternoon all..just updated my totals for December/this year and as you can see from my sig, have cleared over £5k this year. Really pleased as although I haven't hit the £8000 I set myself this time last year, I feel SO MUCH happier compared to last December when at nearly £30,000 in debt everything seemed bleak and depressing. I have decided this will be my year and I will set my target of £10,000 by Xmas 2009. Good luck to all long haulers for 2009!!Debt at lightbulb moment (June 2007) was £31,738.19Debt as of 1st January 2010 was £21,905.82
Current debts total as of July 2014 £4,3000 -
