Have pulled out the easy-to-get weeds from the veg patch as I walked in from work and it almost looks semi-respectable now!

Goodness me, @kazwookie, that looks like a paddy field! I hope the water has somewhere to drain to, and that the house isn't affected.

Mr KK has kept my pots and greenhouse watered whilst I was away. Only two nights but I’m still grateful! 😉

Had to move a couple lavenders today - cut them back to 2 inches above wood to minimise shock and transplanted them with everything crossed they cope.

Potted some cuttings in plastic bags just in case.

And I’ve got lots and lots of lovely lavender drying in the garage. Smells divine!

A shop in town was getting rid of tatty plants and I have two free astilbes, three pretty pinks and a couple of portulas. I've plunged them in water overnight and I'll see what's managed to revive tomorrow. Only the astilbes were seriously dry but even so I have hopes for them.

Hi Cherry we are also devotees of the plant ‘resurrection section’ - have had some wonderful bargains/ results but sometimes a £1 stick is just a £1 stick 🤣

didn’t realise I could put them in water overnight if dry - thanks for the tip 👍🏻👍🏻
