I'm busy cardboarding the paths in the veg plot, although I'm beginning to wonder whether it isn't easier to mow them. Then again, if I can keep the grass out of the paths this time I can just fill them with calendula, forget-me-nots, and strawberries instead. I'm pulling up couch grass and dandelions and other bits as I go, but trying to leave the things I want. I'm putting the cardboard on, but I am now debating whether to go down that route or just try to be better at the weeding and mowing this year. The woodchip could then go into the compost/mulch system...
