    OP - are they asking for an account number or the Meter numbers?

    I would imagine that they would need the latter to set you up a new account
    They don't usually need the meter number, just the property address.

    So, just to check this, because it doesn't make any sense and thousands of people move house - you followed the link that has been given (twice) to the "I am a new customer going into a new house" page, and it's asking for an existing account number?
