Being refused return, what can I do?

It’s only £23 that they are owing, honestly it’s more the principle of it that is really making me upset.

That large distribution centre probably operates for several retailers so it is possible that the return is sitting somewhere in the centre but has not reached them.
However, that is their problem. 

Tracking doesn't get signed for by the recipient    Royal Mail do not get a signature- since covid- but the postman puts a squiggle  and it is logged as signed for.

Do you have any advice on how I should be communicating this to them as they really do not seem to be listening to me.
