Update on Dispute with Wadda Traders Ltd – Court Action Taken, Company Now Trading Under New Name

Since my last post, a County Court Judgment (CCJ) against has been obtained Wadda Traders Ltd for the full recovery of the purchase price of a vehicle that was misrepresented and plagued with issues. Despite the court ruling, the trader has remained entirely uncooperative, and bailiff enforcement has so far failed to recover any funds.

What’s particularly concerning is that Wadda Traders Ltd has ceased trading and appears to have been replaced by a new entity, Jainf Ltd, which is trading from the same premises at 121 Canterbury Road, Croydon CR0 3HH. Public records show that the same individual who controlled Wadda is now the director of Jainf.

This raises serious questions about phoenix trading, where a business is shut down and relaunched under a new name to avoid debts and legal obligations. While I make no formal accusation, the facts and timing suggest a deliberate attempt to avoid repaying owed money.

Comments and reviews left on other platforms by other consumers appear to support a pattern of unsatisfactory conduct, and I strongly advise anyone considering buying from this business, under any name, to be extremely cautious.

There is, at this stage, little hope of recovering the monies I am owed through Wadda, and the apparent continuity of trading under a new name with the same leadership is deeply troubling.

⚠️ If you’ve dealt with Wadda or Jainf, or have relevant information or similar experiences, I’d welcome any input or advice.

This is the danger with these companies.

Thank you for your comment. The core issue is that Wadda Traders Ltd, being a limited company, holds no recoverable assets, and the newly trading business appears to be in a similar position. Both have operated from rented premises on a week-to-week basis, reportedly pending the freeholder’s application for a change of use.

My reason for posting here is twofold:

    1. To warn others considering buying from these businesses, and
    2. To encourage anyone who has previously purchased from Wadda to share their experiences, which may help build a clearer picture of the company’s trading history and conduct.

Looks like the main man bails 6 months before he knows the company is going down and passes it off to some patsy to take the fall.

I have an ongoing saga with Jainf which i will explain. Part exed a vehicle, he came to my home. Car he provided was mot failure. Refused to answer calls, emails. Advised cancellation of contract. Returned car to his showroom. Noone can get hold of him. Noone would take his key. The staff of another firm prevented me from leaving with my part ex vehicle. Wanted me to leave the key there. Thought best to hold onto it.
I'm still the keeper. Do you think arrange charge back now or collect my vehicle first? Happy to keep you updated. Oh and did you see him and his girlfriend are convicted fraudsters following crash for cash in 2015....interesting chap indeed.

If a CCJ has been obtained and Bailiffs going to collect the debt, is this not a car showroom with sufficient cars to take in the event that the individuals on site are unable to make more fluid payment?

Further to my earlier posts, Lloyds Bank, which initially advised that Charge Back did not apply, refunded the car purchase price and out-of-pocket expenses. Hopefully, they will work with Visa to curtail this rogue trader. My advice: do not bother with Small Claims Court and Bailiffs. They are ineffective in this case, and neither bailiffs nor the court returns calls. Good luck with your claim.

They don't own anything! See my reply to Bruvva's post for update.
