Having been let down by local taxi companies I am left with no option other than to hire a self drive people carrier from home to Heathrow. The only local company is Enterprise but I cannot get them to quote a price without making a booking! Can anyone give me at least a starting price for a less than 24 hour one way booking so that I can at least get an idea of cost. 

Why do they make this so difficult?

Can’t you run it through on their site as if you were going to make a journey, surely that’d generate a price at which point you simply don’t proceed to payment? I was looking at van hire last year and I managed to generate a one-way price that way. Perhaps the set-ups have changed or van hire and passenger vehicles are dealt with differently?

Just tried myself, will will quote you fine, obviously click the "return to a different location" box . Not sure why you are having an issue.

After my post yesterday I tried it as well and don’t even think I needed to click the different location, just ticked the one-way journey option.
Am sure OP should be able to sort this
