Hi my ISA matures 31st May, offered me 4.5%, but Shawbrook 4.7%. So opened one on 20th May to xfer in. However the acct is sitting empty till the xfer in,am I better sticking in Coventry.?
Thanks
Thanks

If you are checking whether or not 4.7% is still more than 4.5%, I can confirm this is true and will be on 31st May. It would have made sense to open the Shawbrook ISA later if the fixed term begins when accepted for the account rather than when it is first funded. That way you'd get the rate for longer.

Thanks yes I realised. Thinking maybe leaving the ISA in Coventry and moving to my 4 access ISA which is 5.05% but is variable . Any thoughts? If I decide to xel the xfer in , Shawbrook won't get the message till Tuesday, how does the cancellation happen ? Thanks very much , just need advice.0

Anyway, are you saying that you've already initiated an ISA transfer and are now having second thoughts? As you say, the first port of call will be to contact Shawbrook - your chances of success will probably depend on how much progress has been made so far....1 -
You have 14days to xcel with Shawbrook. The xfer is not happening until 01 June, so I expect still time, have to wait till Tuesday.
Here's hoping.

Where x = can( cel) and x also = trans(fer)?0

Don't understand why you have commented.
Thank you0 -
Using x as shorthand for 'trans' is common & recognised - xfer, xmit...
Using xcel (or xel...) as shorthand for 'cancel' is wierd, and doesn't help towards an easy & accurate understanding of your xsage.4 -
For what it's worth, when my Coventry ISA matures on 31 May, I will transfer the money to my Four Access ISA with Coventry.
In my case, I want to avoid too many more fixed rates.
p.s. And the odd abbreviation for 'cancel' took me far too long to decipher.2 -
I thought of going with the Four Access Isa but have decided to open a Flexible Cash ISA with Trading 212.1

When was the Coventry 4 Access Flexible ISA first announced?0
