hi a newbie here first ever post... ever !!!

been reading the threads and needing some help

I have been given UKPA charge letter which I was gonna pay the £65 reduced rate until I saw the deadline date which was 26/06 and when I tried to pay but it was charging £100, it is a bit unfair that I didn't receive the letter till the deadline date and it wasn't til after work that I tried to pay so the date had elapsed. Now the thing is it was the wife that took the car and what she recalls is that a shopper who was returning to her car and offered her ticket as it still had 2 hours left on the ticket and as she was returning a dress she took the ticket not thinking too much of it. and we are now being charged. not sure what to do here tbh.
    Just ignore it.
yeah i have seen that on the threads as well and the thing is I have I have just received a final notice - do not ignore letter today ?

how far will they go with this and what if they put the charge up for a non-payment as they have given a date of 10/07/24 to pay it?

Hijacking someone else's thread is not the way to get answers (which you've already been given). It is the equivalent of barging into someone else's conversation and expecting everyone to suddenly pay attention to you.

I'm not sure which bit of "please start your own thread" is not clear.
