    does anyone know how long it should take for an MPAN to be deactivated? meter was removed on 23rd October but Octopus have admitted that forms were sent off on 6th January - so at the moment I am still being charged each month for a standing charge and some small estimated energy for this meter (that I no longer have) and octopus have said they wont process a refund until the MPAN deactivation process is "actioned"

    so forms were sent off on 6th Jan and got confirmation today  27th March that the MPAN has been de-energised  (just for info - in case anyone else wonders how long the process takes)  - Octopus confirmed it and i did contact national grid on their online chat and they confirmed it too
