This house from 1930s has a sort of crack above the ground floor roof. It spans the entire building and is always right above the roof which is very weird.
any ideas what it could be and if serious?
in the back similar crack is there but only in the part that has tiles
according to Google Street view it has been there since at least 2008.

It's because the pebble dash was cut back for a new flashing, and when the new pebble dash was done the join can be seen.3
