hi,
im looking for evergreen plants for my garden that have leaves on them all year round and dont lose them in winter, i can understand them losing flowers but i was looking for some that keep their leaves. i did buy some climbers for my fence last year and was told that they would keep leaves on even through winter but they didnt at all.
im not fully up on these as ive only started gardening last year but google is scary so i thought i would ask on here

huge thanks for any help or advice

You can get evergreen clematis as well although the one I have is a bit of a thug.
I like my Sarcococca . Not much to look at, but it has the most amazing scent early on in the year when not much is happening elsewhere. Mine is planted by my front door. All shall be well, and all shall be well, and all manner of things shall be well.
Pedant alert - it's could have, not could of.1 -
The answer is all of them, that is why they are called evergreen.1

Various varieties of Euonymus are great as they can be variegated and brighten up a dark space- thinking Emerald gaiety or Emerald Gold for example. Will grow as bush or will grow tall if planted by a fence.
most evergreens lose some leaves /needles over winter- but the bulk of the leaves stay (unless the plant dies! I lost my hebes that way over a bad winter)Being polite and pleasant doesn't cost anything!
