£23.78 for me this week, and also, so far this month I have received 2 x £2 Asda gift cards from being overcharged. I have them stashed away for a nice cheap shopping week later in the year :T0

im sure i read somewhere about Mr T pure milk going back up from £1 tomorrow?? Is this right or have i imagined it and just spend £10 on a load of milk for nothing?? :rotfl: (hey it was £1.29 and the kids go through it like something not right so i was stocking up in anticipation of the price increase!)
Hi not sure if anyone repiled to you yet but i bought some pure milk from mr T at the weekend and it stated on shelf that the offer runs out on 22/1/08
So you did not waste your money.:j'Be kinder than necessary, for everyone you meet is fighting some kind of battle'0 -
Shouldn't have any problems keeping within our budget but I would really like to beat last month. However that means we've got £1.65 to last til 31st! In theory it's possible because we've got loads of food, but it's always the odd bits and bobs that send me to the supermarket so it will be interesting to see if we can do it. I will have a sense of achievement if we do.:think:0

the D usually stands for dear or darling but on a bad day might mean dreaded or damned or dratted I suppose
there's a list of the abbreviations on the A-z index, HTH (hope that helps)

Well, as you can see from my sig, my current spend is about £85, so I am going to try and re-set my budget to £100. If I go over, it's not too big a deal, but it would be nice to be in!
For reasons I don't care to go into, I now have an entire pubs worth of food at my disposal (including loads of frozen HM ready meals, potatoes, cheese etc). I can't really use *too* much of it until I know where it's final destination is going to be (if I find out it's final resting place is our house I will be D)
I have also pointed out to OH just how expensive our potatoes are (he insists on Maris Piper), but we should be getting some new pots to try from a farmer - if he likes them, we shall get a cheap sack (£5). He also told me he likes Mayflower potatoes, which hopefully could be cheaper as well.We must all suffer one of two things: the pain of discipline or the pain of regret and disappointment0 -
