I think I'm going to remove all the cards saved on my Amazon account and just use a gift card balance as payment. The only thing on there is an Audible subscription of £3.99 for one remaining month.

That means that if I want to buy stuff I have to consciously load the money.

Did you say you were going to try and get your shopping click and collect at Tesco?  Could you use the balance on that card to pay for the shopping then send the money to a card or to build up so you are nearer the next £100 on the overdraft?

Good idea! I am not sure if I get charged for spending, silly question, but as the card would be in credit I shouldn't be charged should I?

So this didn't work as you have to have one card linked to your account, you physically can't remove it. That is terrible. I am not sure if that's because I have an audible subscription. That ends next month so I can look then.

I think I'm learning that the least places I have to exert will power then the better, there is only so much will power.

I'd rather use that will power in training in the gym which has positive benefit. Not in trying to avoid temptation online.

Thought I made another Facebook sale but think this one is a scam. It's when they ask 'could I ask is it in good condition' that you know it's a scam.

Erm, condition is as pictured and described Sherlock.  Waiting for "great I can pay you now" and I'll just block them. No one (real/honest) offers to pay you for goods before they have received them.

Luckily, first time I got suspicious, when they want to send a Fedex courier, I googled Facebook scam.

Do you have an emergency fund pot?  Put your refund in there perhaps? Or if you have a Christmas/birthdays pot maybe in there?

I am a terrible human. The facebook buyer turned up and I didn't hear my phone. It was connected through my ANC headphones and I had just finished a call on Teams.

To be fair, I wrote in the original messaae, I am free tomorrow anytime except between 2-3pm. They replied, great I can come at 2.15pm? I can see how I wrote it could be misread, but I didn't know how to politely navigate it, so I checked my diary and I saw my meeting would finish at 2.30pm, so I said how about 2.30pm.

    I've lost the sale : (
