Scottish power gas smart meter display not working
My gas smart meter display is not working, the smart meter is completely unresponsive and will not connect to the in home display. I have contacted Scottish power and they said that as my meter is still providing a reading to them it is not faulty and they will not complete any repairs. Is this correct or does it have to display for me so I can verify usage/provide meter readings for switching/moving home? I was wanting to switch supplier soon and this will no doubt

That's not acceptable you need to be able to check your own readings.

I assume you've tried pressing buttons on the meter?0

If you send a picture of the meter, people here might be able to offer some suggestions, but in the meantime, open a formal complaint with SP if you've not already done so, then raised a complaint with the Energy Ombudsman after 8 weeks (or whenf SP provide a deadlock letter).0
