Need to translate my death certificate from Greek to English

In England the equivalent to that hand written Cypriot interim certificate would appear to be the Medical Certificate of Cause of Death issued by a doctor (and which is sent to the Registrar to enable the full Death Certificate to be issued) and would (or could) be completed the same day if the cause of death is not deemed 'unnatural'.p00hsticks said:
I can't comment on Cyprus specifically, but as a general observation how can an interim certificate which you say is issued on the day of death necessarily be able to specify the cause ? In some cases it may be obvious, but in others surely further enquiries /.a post mortem woudl be required. That's certainly the position in the UK.Mands said:
Interestingly, that is not completely accurate. For example: the interim death certification *does* include cause of death. I can't speak to the accuracy of the rest of the information.Marcon said:

However, it would be highly unlikely to be issued the same day as death (in fact you're lucky if you get it within a fortnight from our experience ....)1 -
Just to clarify, I received a interim death certificate, but no reason for death was included. I have also received a emailed death certificate from the cremation people. again cause of death not included, told it could take up to 12 monthsTrinidad - I have a number of needs. Don't shoot me down if i get something wrong!!0

Interesting question. I am the one using the term 'interim death certificate', you made me question that.p00hsticks said:

I pulled out the one I had and put it through google translate. That comes back as "Medical Certificate of Cause of Death". The key section of that translates as "Cause of Death" and, for this one, lists three medical conditions.
Where the cause of death isn't known, and a PM is needed, I don't know if they delay issuing the certificate or list the cause as unknown. Burials can't be arranged without the death certification and they usually happen within 24 hours so I don't know how that's managed.0 -
I think I muddied the waters by using the term Interim Certificate. It is also a Medical Certificate of Cause of Death.Shedman said:

There's no human crematorium in Cyprus. Where was he cremated? Bulgaria or UK are the two most likely options.trinidadone said:Just to clarify, I received a interim death certificate, but no reason for death was included.
