And once you've emailed the DPO would you support this
So many people don't receive 1st/2nd pcn but the £170 payment due letter often manages to drop through letter boxes. PPCs always claim their letters were sent though offer no evidence to prove this. A letter's issue date is not it's sending date nor does it prove the letter was sent.

Since PPCs CHOOSE NOT to provide evidence of their posting date and delivery we must continue to press gov to ensure they do. Please sign/share these petitions.

Thanks good luck fighting this charge

Resurrecting this thread from May this year.

Firstly I received a 'Claim Form' from DCB Legal date 17 Sep 2024 which came with a response pack -

I put it in a drawer intending to work out what to do next, but clearly waited too long and then received this little beauty this morning (15 Oct 2024) dated 10 Oct 2024, ordering me to pay but not really making any attempt to make it easy whilst saying that deatails of the judgement against me will be entered into Register of Judgements.

I would be most grateful for advice on what these documents actually mean, and the significance of them, as well as advice as to what I should do next?

Seems to me that the claim form was sent to you last month by the CNBC in Northampton, not sent by DCB Legal , so you are wrong there

Not dealing with it promptly appears to mean that the claimant has obtained a default CCJ against you

So you should pay the amount on the latest letter to the lawyers ASAP, because you only have 30 days to do so, starting from the date on the latest letter

If you don't pay in full, or fail to pay it, or leave it too long , the CCJ will be recorded on the public register and affect you for the next 6 years

So pay it, in full, the sooner the better

Sadly, this was your chance to win and pay nothing but you have automatically lost by failing to defend a court claim.

Game over. So sorry. Missed the boat.

Pay in full this month to avoid a CCJ.
PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).
