RTS Switch Off Meter Query

They can extend it all they want but once the penultimate valve of the transmitter breaks, that'll be it, regardless of what deadline humans have put on it for turning off the signal.jrh22542254 said:Mine is definitely a RTS and I am being hounded to get it upgraded. Unfortunately my existing supplier can only supply a new meter that has E7 times of 12.15 to 7.15 whereas my existing is 1pm to 8pm much better times for me.Will they extend RTS beyond June 2025.Thank you.
Not quite sure how your current E7 times manage to be so very abnormal though, if they're controlled by an RTS 🤔0 -
I think you should consider yourself lucky that you got away with that for as long as you did.jrh22542254 said:Mine is definitely a RTS and I am being hounded to get it upgraded. It's a tricky one. On the one hand you'll need to change at some time, you'll be hassled mercilessly until you do (quite legitimately in this case) and there is a (I suspect quite small) risk that if you don't co-operate and there are issues you pay punitive charges. Sounds tough but it really is the case that the RTS system is on its last legs and hence the pressure on the energy suppliers to get everyone to change. On the flip side you'll get less attractive hours. Only you can decide really....0

I see that in another thread you have it as 1am to 8am which is more reasonable.bob2302 said:
