Replacement for Samsung A70

Currently a family member has a Samsung A70 but needs to change it.
Main focus on new/replacement phone is a great camera and good battery life. Needs to be android.
Any suggestions?

Depends on what their budget is. If the have an A70 then they keep phones for a long time I guess so need one with a longer support regime.

Something like a Google Pixel 7a? They have just released the 8a so there should be some decent deals on the 7a coming out.

When looking at budget phones you need to make sure it is running a 64bit version of Android. That not just that it has a 64bit processor, but the OS version as well.

Depends on budget but Samsung have deal at the moment on new A35, £230 with guaranteed trade-in on any phone.

Samsung A54 5G - A55 recently came out so it's probably available a bit cheaper now, I paid £300 it's very good. Read some reviews of it. No need to pay £400 never mind £900 you can pay for some phones - it's like buying a BMW when a Skoda does the job just fine!
