If that is a witness statement,  it should be in First Person; I spotted at least one "the Defendnt"

Hopefully you submitted your best version though!
Well, the one uploaded here was certainly not the version that was handed in :), however, what happens if your WS is not or is not fully written in the first person?

Also, when I was doing the WS I asked the court for a copy of the claim submitted to try and make sure everything was in line with my copies since it had been a long time since things had been submitted. I noticed at the bottom of the claim it had a list of the times mediation service had been offered but had not taken place? I’m not sure if this is printed their by the court or the claimant, it’s in the box with heading, ‘Date, description of case event including applications, warrant fees and costs’. I thought mediation was confidential even from the court, and if it is to be listed would that not have the possibilty of affecting the court proceedings in terms of if mediation is not taken up, particularly since the court would not know the reasons why? Finally, when you submit a WS does the claimant not also have to submit and send the defendant a copy by the deadline?

It's fine!  And if you have not got the Claimant's WS maybe they've discontinued already?

Well, I actually looked before I comment here and if you look it up on their website by entering their PCN reference number it still shows as an amount they are asking for like it did before, however, if you look it up on their website by using the claim number, which is an option it gives if it's gone to or going to court, then it comes back as an invalid claim number or car reg. combination, however, it was also doing that before.

(also, did you by any chance see the next question I posted?)

Thank you once again for your help

Claimant and Defendant both have the same deadline dates.
Please note, we are not a legal advice forum. I personally don't get involved in critiquing court case Defences/Witness Statements, so unable to help on that front. Please don't ask. .

I provide only my personal opinion, it is not a legal opinion, it is simply a personal one. I am not a lawyer.

Yes, which is why I said they've probably already discontinued. Which you CANNOT find out anywhere online.

Clearly ring the local court & ask if they have received the Claimant's WS and if not, is the hearing vacated?.
