I have some questions about claiming child benefit if you earn over 60k
my husband earns 64k a year before tax is child benefit worked out on net or gross annual income?
and if we are just over the 60k what percentage of tax will we pay?

Adjusted net income of,
£62,000 would be a 10% charge
£62,190 would be a 10% charge
£62,200 would be an 11% charge

The tax % is the annual child ben/20000. So for instance with 2 children, ann child ben is 2213 so the tax % in the 60-80k range is 2213/20000 = 11.1%. With 4 children 3975/20000 = 19.9%. On top of income tax and NI.0
