I received an email from Stellantis regarding DCA particularly in terms of finance agreements with Vauxhall and Fiat. They informed me that they found no record of any of my agreements. Has anyone else experienced this? Are they denying responsibility due to the fact that both Vauxhall and Fiat finance were not under their umbrella when DCA’s were commonplace?

They informed me that they found no record of any of my agreements. Has anyone else experienced this?yes they have. Are they denying responsibility due to the fact that both Vauxhall and Fiat finance were not under their umbrella when DCA’s were commonplace?Nothing you have said suggests they are denying responsibility. From your words, is appears they cannot find a record of your agreements. You can of course supply them with a copy of your records. it may help them locate them.
I am an Independent Financial Adviser (IFA). The comments I make are just my opinion and are for discussion purposes only. They are not financial advice and you should not treat them as such. Stellantis have subsequently contacted me indicating that Fiat finance (FGA & FCA) will still have any records of agreements with me and gave me an email address to contact.
Has anyone else experienced a similar situation?0 -
Go ahead and try CA Automotive but let us know if you still have issues. It makes sense as Stellantis are made up of a merger of PSA (Peugeot), FCA (Fiat Chrysler) and Vauxhall (via PSA). They are saying that your info still resides with FCA (now known as CA Automotive) CA AUTO FINANCE UK LTD (fca.org.uk) contact details here on the register. A little confusing but makes sense in light of the link between the firms. When firms merge it is not uncommon for the data and archives to take some time to merge too. Sometimes they stay separate entities For example there those with Vauxhall Finance who are contacting Stellantis to be told to go to Vauxhall.0
