But it's not as simple as EasyJet being right and Ryanair wrong, if that's what you're suggesting - even the list quoted above isn't a definitive one ("Damage can include [examples]") so there will inevitably be some subjectivity. Sounds like getting the passport replaced (and keeping the puppy away from the new one!) is the most pragmatic option, to avoid future issues....maverico said:

That is not 'slight cosmetic damage' to me. I'm more surprised that other airlines accepted it than I am that RyanAir refused to.
